Learning Objectives At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to: Describe the basics principles of ultrasound technology. Discuss key terminology and relate it to ultrasound principles Relate principles of ultrasound to the administration of peripheral nerve blocks Discuss key elements regarding probe manipulation and needle guidance Identify ultrasound imaging for upper extremity blocks Recognize the different upper extremity anatomic regions utilizing ultrasonography Demonstrate accurate placement of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks of the upper extremities.
