Palliative care is a field which encompasses both medical knowledge and the touch of humanity. Art, defined as a human creative skill or its application, is an integral part of humane care. Holistic care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and for their loved ones can only be achieved if we are able to amalgamate both the art and the science of caring. |
